Hi friend,
I had announced the annual review and planning workshop close to a month back and I wasn’t sure how it would go because I have no experience hosting something like this. Additionally, I did not get the time to advertise it properly because I had other commitments in line, and I fell short of time toward the due date.
I made many mistakes, but I am overwhelmed with the results.
Some crazy stats-
People from 4 different nationalities signed up.
People from 2 nationalities attended, because of the holiday season. A lot of them messaged me later that they couldn’t join because they had guests over. 😇
People from all walks of life came together
People from diverse backgrounds joined us, including an ex-Army doctor, a vegan chef, a radio jockey, a gymnast, along with writers and engineers!
This is crazy!
This is what they said before the workshop -
The least votes went to Relationships when asked what areas are you most focussed on! Either all the people in this group are in a happy relationship, or I am the only one who struggles with relationships 💁🏻♀️
Moving on, when asked-
It was heartwarming to watch everyone’s faces light up when we were reviewing 2024 together, one of them even got very emotional. It was all the more exciting to watch everyone get excited about their goals and feel determined. As a host, you get to go through everyone’s emotions.
There is something just so exciting about doing things with friends. I am sure a fan of such activities because it is just so much more fun this way.
Here’s what we did
We gathered together and we answered some prompts. We thought about all the things we wanted to do in 2025, we picked the most urgent and important ones and set our goals. In between we chatted, shared, laughed, and listened to awesome music.
Here is what the participants have to say after the workshop-
I am thrilled and my heart is full by hosting this workshop. I am grateful I could be of little help to someone. :)
